General presentation > Objectives and scope

This workshop is primarily intended to provide an opportunity for researchers and practitioners from Industry and Academia to gather and share their knowledge regarding the reduction of environmental impacts thanks to innovative sealing systems. The conferences shall offer to the participants the opportunity to study the latest contributions on this subject and to identify the problems met by industrials by favouring a common approach. This event is the result of collaboration between the Electricité de France and the Département Génie Mécanique et Systèmes Complexes of the Institut Pprime (UPR 3346, CNRS-Université de Poitiers-ISAE-ENSMA). Furthermore, the workshop is organised under the auspices of the French section of the ASME and of AFM.
